About Borovets

Borovets is in the Rila mountains, about 75 km from Sofia airport, and it is Bulgaria's oldest mountain resort. The resort centre sits at 1,350 m. From there you reach the forest runs, the gondola that climbs to Yastrebets peak in about 25 minutes, and Markudjik, the highest and most open area.

It's a good resort for families, beginners and mixed groups. Beginners' group courses start on Sundays, so first-timers do best arriving on a Saturday. On some evenings there's night skiing too.

Good to know before you book

Prices are in euros, per person, for two adults sharing a double room.
Children, solo travellers, three to a room and groups: we'll send you a personal quote.
A stay that runs across two price periods is priced by the nights in each period.
The ski season depends on snow. In early December and late March, we'll check with you that the lifts are open before you book a ski package.
Lift passes and ski hire can't be refunded once booked.
Cancellation terms depend on the hotel and the dates. We'll send them with your quote, before you pay.
Prices are subject to availability at the time of booking.
